Kalani David- Mini Stuntman

Kalani David, the newest RVCA team rider, is a freak of nature talent. I'm pretty sure he's been raised to be a stuntman, he charges full throtle in everything he does.

Kalani busting a frontside over the gap at Eukai beach park.

Kalani, demonstrating some BMX skillz. The kid has a bag of tricks for every discipline.

Kalani is all about going Fast, like a mini Matt Archbold, he's built for speed.

After a long day of skating, surfing, motox and bmxing, Kalani didn't show the slightest sign of slowing down.

BJ PENN SIGNING- OAHU NOV 3

SHAKAS HAWAII

So, Shakas from Hawaii. Nolo and me flew over here to TCB, fo real. Nolan is shooting lifestyles of the team and charging the unruley waves of the North Shore, already suffering a gnarly foot slash.

Archy getting ready to go shred at Rocky Rights. He threw down some insane slashes, punted an air and did some crazy floaters. He gets amped to surf and really attacks.

Nolan getting the angles of Matt walking back to the car.

Matt Archbold and Bill Ballard. If you haven't heard yet, Bill is making a huge documentary about ARCHY, which will tell Matt's life story and remind the kiddies why they are surfing the way they do.

Nolan Hall, the trips photographic journalist. He's been doing a great job documenting the trip and spreading the costa mesa mahalo.

Rory Parker our main man over here on the North Shore of Oahu. I never knew he skated, he took us through some bushes where we stumbled upon this insane skate park.

Here's me, photo by NOlo, I think Jimmy, RVCA's skate TM, would be proud of my slashability. Also, Mark Partain was skating the park and really blowing up, he's a legend.

Dropping into the speed line.

SURF, EAT, ROCK

The waves have been really really good here in Newport over the past three days. Here is another perfect, empty wave. We don't get A+ waves here very often.

Here's another ripping left hander, splendid.

Surf doggs were out all over the place.

Ford Archbold and his bro Andrew Doheney were all over the swell, getting some nice pits.

Akrem is happy when the surfs up because people break boards and buy new ones, here he is with Kieth Malloy or is it VANS' Scott Sissamis, I can't tell.

Jack English, Tanner and Alex Knost were looking for the perfect peeler so they could slide on their new Gato Heroi sleds.

Sinister surf club member Colin didn't make it to their daily meeting because he was too busy in the green room.

The Japanese Motors x Black Lips had a rocking show at Detroit on Sunday, busting out a projector to add a some flare to their show. They were playing RVCA advocate Alex Kopps' new movie GOTHIC DOLPHINS.

The Chizz made it down to experience the offshore breeze, I don't think he made it out because a party injury he incured at the Japanese Motors x Black Lips show the night before.

Casey Brown was bumming because he had a busted shoulder, we ate some food with the boys at Surfing mag and shot the breeze.

Steve Sherman is one of my favorite photographers ever. He's photo editor at Surfing mag and does a really brilliant job.

KALANI DAVID Is Oficially On The Team

Kalani David is a radical little dude, he surfs and skates at a level way above his age.

Kalani shredding the lip.

Kalani styling in his RVCA T-shirt.

The first day riding for RVCA he filmed a piece with ABC's Good Morning America, which just aired. This the host and Kalani hanging out.

I nailed this water shot of Kalani pumping down the line.

Kalani is still a grom, utilizing the local play parks, not just the skate parks.

I've never even dropped into a vert ramp, at nine years old Kalani has already done a 540.

CAT TOWN

A few of the cat's peeking their head through the scraper board.

Casey Brown pile drove himself into the sandbar at Ano Nuevo, don't worry he's fine and the boys at BLISSS magazine even bought him lunch to make him feel better.

MACHETE FIGHT party

Ladies and Gentlemen.... MACHETE FIGHT. The band pretty damn good and not because Russel Smith is a team rider, they really do go off and play good music. They sound a little like Fugazi, Modest Mouse and Whitesnake mixed together. Russel plays rythem guitar and sings, I never knew he was so GNAR!!

Another view of Machete Fight, rocking their faces off.

The kids were all having fun and flash dancing their brains out. The lady to the right was holding it down hard!!

All the local girls, looking good!!

RVCA Northern California rep Ryan Hughes and me rocking out to Machete Fight.

ME, mavericks charger Anthony Tashnick and Mike Guarino.

RVCA taco grind, pre-Machete Fight party. Thank you to the Page Nut, Russel's fiance, and the NUT family for having all of us over to their lovely home. The place is sick Dan Nut built the place with his own 2 hands.

Team videographer Reagan Ritchie and Daniel Jones the RVCA team taco grind.

JP and Pascal, talking story and lining up the strategy for the night.

Santa Cruz Tray Day

The waves were so optimus prime for traying at ITS, a super wedgey nug on the other side of "the lane", the place where the first Tray ride went down.

Tyler Smith, flexing the tray to make sure it will hold in the stormey conditions.

Rory Parker and Pascal Stansfield, avid tray boarders pictured here in their RVCA foul weather gear, staying warm for the session.

Gavin Beschen claims Traying is the best way to stay fit for big North Shore swells.

Pascal, holding it down at ITS with his Gato Wetsuit on and Dell custom Free Big J tray.

The grueler, solo session, nectar!!!

This guy trayed until he carcused up on the beach.
